The MG B is often considered as a synonym for a classic sports cars. Presented as an open model in 1962 with the 1800 cubic meter in-line engine, the MG B produced 95 horsepower and the car accelerated from standstill to 100 km/h in about ten seconds. The MGB became popular despite the class boundaries: Its body was light and beautiful and the car’s driving characteristics were excellent.
This car is an MG B Roadster from 1969. The exterior color of the car is the rare original shade of Prime rose Yellow. The interior has black leather upholstery and the cabin is finished with a wooden Motolita steering wheel.
The current owner bought the car in 2017 from Holland. In Finland, the car is registered as a museum vehicle.
The car was restored in Holland. The restoration has included refurbishing and repainting the car’s body, engine overhaul and renewing the seat upholstery.
In Finland, the car has been serviced regularly at Grips Garage, which specializes in British classics. During the current owner’s time, the car has been fitted with EZ electric power steering, a new black fabric soft top roof and installed seat belts. In connection with regular maintenances, for example, the fuel tank and fuel pump have been renewed.
The MGB’s engine is the original B-series engine with two SU carburettors. The car’s engine runs smoothly and the transmission works flawlessly.
Registered as a historic vehicle. The car has been Mot/Tüv inspected until June 2025. A beautiful British sports car ready to be enjoyed.
