MGB is synonymous with the classic sports car. It was popular across class boundaries especially in the 1960s, and no wonder why. Its body was beautiful and light, and the car had excellent driving characteristics.
This very early “Pull Handle” MGB was imported from Canada to Finland in 1989. The car has had three owners in Finland: The first Finnish owner registered the car and kept it until 1994. The second owner owned the car for more than 24 years until 2018. In 2018, the car was bought by S. Kokkonen, during whose ownership the car was completely taken to parts and restored.
The restoration of the car has been made to meet the original certificate from the factory: The body has been refurbished and painted in the original Iris Blue shade. The engine, transmission and clutch have been rebuilt with new original parts. The car’s electricity has been renewed, as have the brakes and exhaust system.
The interior has been re-upholstered with original shades and materials of blue. Also dashboard, gauges and KMP/H speedo have been refurbished. The cab is finished with a N.O.S Les Leston wooden steering wheel.
The car has a new blue tonneau cover and black soft-top roof with storage bags.
The car’s original SU carburetors have been refurbished and adjusted and the car is running and working great. Really accurate, sporty and fun car to drive!
New Michelin X classic tires with refurbished original Dunlop wheels and hubcaps.
Fresh Mot/Tüv inspection until 2024.
