The car has been sold as new to Finland through an official Land Rover dealer. The car was owned by last owner in Lapland for ten years. The chassis is rust-proof as new and in the north where roads are not salted, it has remained in excellent, rust-free condition.

The car is serviced regularly every year, although the mileage has accumulated moderately. The car has just been serviced (197,000 km). The original service manual and instruction manuals are retained.

The car is princely equipped with ABS brakes, traction control, air conditioning, Webasto fuel-powered engine heater, electric engine block heater and electric windows.

Dignified Range Rover P38.

The car has been sold as new to the Netherlands (DE Koning Land Rover B.V), from where it was imported to Finland in 2013. The car has been in the same family in Finland since 2015. The car has been taken excellent care of and the original service book still exists. Serviced in Finland at least once a year, although driven a little.

  • Periodically serviced and inspected in August 2020. Engine oil cooler and heater cell renewed.
  • 2019 renewed radiator, battery, windshield, tie rods and anti-roll bars and air conditioning motor.
  • The car’s engine was replaced in December 2015. The replacement engine has been refurbished e.g. with a new water pump and turbocharger. Total engine mileage a few tens of thousands of car mileage more.
  • Air springs renewed and compressor repaired in 2014. Air suspension with level adjustment works very fine.

BMW’s reliable M51 straight six-cylinder diesel engine and ZF’s 4HP 22 automatic transmission work great. The car has engine tune program that smooths the journey, especially at high speeds.

Chassis is in very good condition. The body and paint are in very good and tidy condition. A small dent in front of the left taillight.

The P38 is the last Range Rover with rigid axles and a separate body. The comfort provided by the air suspension makes the ride luxurious on and off road. A modern classic that is perfect for everyday driving.

When we talk about Land Rover One Ten V8’s, the very usual question is “there is not any in Finland, is there? There is not many of them in anywhere.” But as we know, if there is some car made more than one piece, the another one is here in Finland…

Not many were sold here, though. Actually only three Land Rover 110 V8’s were sold as new to Finland. This is one of them and only one that still exists in totally original condition and has passed the historic vehicle inspection. And oh boy, what car it still is.

This Slate Grey Land Rover One Ten V8 came to Finland with another new Land Rovers in 12.10.1986. Ship was called Arcturus. The car was sold as new from official Land Rover dealer Autorep and the first owner of the car was Mr. Kukkonen from Helsinki. Since then the car has had only few owners and they have taken very good care of it and driven totally only 187 000 km’s.

The Land Rover One Ten was introduced in 1983, but we can still find it from the peak of the original Land Rover evolution: Land Rover derived the permanent four wheel drive system from Range Rover, as well as coil spring suspension and Rover V8 engine. Five speed LT85 gearbox still enables the highway speeds with extraordinary comfort. And when the travel gets grips with steep, soft, rutted or slippery terrains, there is two speed transfer box with lockable central differential to certain that the joyrney continues with the self assurance.

This ‘1986 One Ten V8 County really multipurpose vehicle as new and that it is still: The original interior with seats for nine person, is in impressive condition. The original chassis and body have been taken good care of and the original chassis is rustprotected and in very good condition.

Between 2017–2020 car has been refurbished with the respect to its great original condition:

  • Repainted with its original Slate Grey colour and finished with original County stripes
  • Engine has been refurbished with new camshaft, hydraulic lifters, timing chain, sprockets and waterpump. Carburattors has been refurbished and adjusted.
  • Exhaust has been totally renewed
  • New alternator and battery
  • Clutch main cylinder renewed

The car looks stunning inside and outside and runs perfectly. Refined burble sound and perky power of V8 together with the agricultural originality of Land Rover is something unique.

In April 1988, my father sold a new Alaskan Blue Range Rover from Land Rover Dealer Autorep to Mr. M. Hoikkala in Kuusamo, Northern Finland. The 1973 Range Rover, which had served the Hoikkala family for a long time, entered the car dealership in the barter trade.

‘1988 Range Rover was used by the Hoikkala family from spring 1988 until summer 2020, when we bought it. The car had been kept in an exemplary manner. It was serviced and washed regularly and stored in a dry garage. In recent years, the car had been driven mainly in the autumn to the berry woods, which explains the small total number of trips.

The car has barely been driven in the winter and is in excellent, original condition with its body and chassis. One explanation for the car’s rust-freeness is also the use of the car in northern Finland, where the roads are rarely salted. The car has also got rust-proof as new. The car has never been welded or painted and there is still not any rust issues. Even very typical Range Rover Classic rust spots such as the rear cross member of the chassis and the tailgates are in their original, rust-free condition.

The car’s original first Alaskan Blue factory paintwork and gray velour upholstery are also in impressive, good original condition. The roof upholstery was renewed in autumn 2020.

The car’s engine was refurbished in the autumn of 2020: Hydraulic valve lifters, camshaft, camchain and water pump were renewed. The car’s engine runs smooth and beautifully and works perfectly.

The car can almost always be restored to its original splendor, but in a history similar to that of a well-preserved original, it rarely meets – the car is the most impressive original 1980s Range Rover Efi we have ever met in Finland. The car’s refurbished, original engine makes driving this Range Rover a wonderful and unique experience.

Not many cars as important when it comes to Finnish motorsport history as RS Escorts.

Between 1976 and 1980, Ford produced only about 10,000 units of RS2000 MK II. This “Droop Snoot” was imported from the Netherlands to Finland in 2007.

The car’s SOHC engine was completely refurbished in 2020 by Hemi Motors that have a lot of experience about Fords: The cylinder heads and block have been overhauled, the pistons, valves and bearings have been renewed. Of course, other wearing parts such as the cambelt, water pump and sparkplugs were also replaced at the same time.

Engine bay and the car brakes were also refurbished.

After the engine overhaul, the car has been driven carefully for 1000 km with oil changes and post-tightening of the cylinder head bolts. The car is perky and works superbly. The car’s original 4-speed gearbox also works great and the syncros are in good condition.

The car body was refurbished about 10 years ago, when the car was imported to Finland. The body is still in good condition, and there are no rust problems – of course, the car has been enjoyed and there is a small amount of use involved. Diamond White exterior color with original RS tapes.

The car still has its original interior. Recaro original seats with Fishneat headrest.

Genuine RS 6×13 rims with new 175/70/13 original size Pirelli tires.

The car was inspected (MOT/Tüv) in July 2020, the next inspection in July 2022.

A very rare classic ready to be enjoyed.

The car is in warm storage, 30 minutes from Helsinki / Vantaa Airport.

Land Rover was sold in 1956 as a new one to Finnish Forest Administration in Eastern Finland. The Finnish Land Rover Dealer tailored and installed the body guards to keep the car tidy when driving in forest roads. And fortunately they did – the car panels are still completely original and totally straight.

According to our inherited information from previous owners of this Series I, the car has had only a few owners and the car has spent its life in Eastern Finland, Kuopio. About 30 years ago, the car ended up with an old gentleman. However, the car needed some attention and was left to stand unused soon after purchase.

A few years ago, the car found a new owner, during whose ownership the car was restored.

Restoring the car was easy as the car had remained in the garage in amazingly good condition for decades. Both the body and the chassis were almost completely rust-free. The frame was sandblasted and painted correctly. The body was also repainted in its original Dove Gray colour. The car body and the chassis are now in great, completely rust-free condition.

Engine, brakes and exhaust were also renovated and many parts were renewed. The car’s electricity was renewed. The car’s engine is still its original and healthy 2-liter mixed-valve petrol engine. The engine runs smoothly and the car is moving briskly.

The car’s transmission is in impressively good condition. The transmission is precise and sturdy, and the syncs are in excellent condition.

The car seats are still its original ones, which were re-upholstered in the original shades of green and black during the restoration. The car is registered for seven – three seats in the front and four in the rear.

The car’s original Station Wagon cab is attached with six bolts and can be quickly removed, making the car a convertible. The upper parts of the doors also come off and it is possible to pour the windscreen on the bonnet in front. The car also comes with a low and small tailgate that suits perfectly when driving without roof.

The Series 1 comes with its original Finnish driving instructions booklet and English maintenance and repair instructions book and Spare parts book.

Land Rover has fresh Mot/Tüv (valid 06/2020 –06/2022). Ready to drive and enjoy!

One owner Garage Find. Matching numbers, all original documents. After 25 years stood unused in its first owner garage, we got complete body off – nut & bolt restoration done on it. Sahara Dust with original Brushed Bronze Nylon interior.

Mr. T. Raappana bought a new Sahara Dust colored Range Rover from Finland’s official  Land Rover dealer Sisu-Auto in 25.08.1976. Mr. Raappana lived in Oulu, northern Finland and he used his Range Rover annually until mid of 1990’s.

The 1976 Range Rover Suffix D was last in traffic at the end of the 90’s. Since 1998 it was sitting  in the first owner’s garage until the beginning of the 2019. According to its first owner’s son, there were a few things that had to be fixed to pass the MOT in the late 90’s and the owner drove it to the garage with the aim to repair the car. 

That never happened. The owner was already old gentleman when he bought the car in 1976 and he drove it very rarely. Between 1976–2019 the first owner drove only 138 000 km’s. Since 1998 the car was in his garage until Spring 2019. The first owner was passed away and his son, also already aged gentleman, sold it.

All the body, chassis, interior and engine of the car were all original and in original condition, but in need of restoration.

All the original papers, including the first registration paper, are stored. All papers are in original Finnish Land Rover dealer map, including the first owner registration papers, original manual and service book. Even the insurance papers, and temporary registration certificate from 1976 before the first plates are stored! The car has still its very first license plates OCV-768. Also all the original tools are in the trunk.

We made full body off, nut & bolt restoration for car with respect to its extraordinary originality and history.

The body was taken off and both the whole chassis and the rusts of the body were sandblasted off. Body and chassis has been refurbished and  painted correctly. Also the axles, wheels and joints were taken apart and refurbished. Bodywork was needed espespecially in typical places, for example sills and front inner wings. Both body inside and outside, as well as body panels have been refurbished and painted correctly with original Sahara dust colour.

The original engine was taken apart, block and cylinder heads were taken to machine shop and the engine was completely rebuild with all new parts after long period stood unused. Brakes, suspension and other techniques are totally refurbished and renewed so that the maneuverability is made justice.

The original interior in incredible condition has kept as original as possible, only the headlining has been renewed.

Original refurbished wheels are fitted with new reproduction Michelin X M+S tires in original size.

A really great single owner time machine, with a perfect history and a car respectful restoration that we are really proud of. The car simply drives perfectly.

Fresh Mot / Tüv inspection done in 5/2021 and valid until 2023.

This Range Rover is a barn find that has been storaged unused since the late 90’s. The car has original 3.5 liter Rover V8 with Zenith/Strömberg carburettors. The car rolls, but we have not even tried to start the engine.

The Range Rover has its original Bahama Gold paint and the original “Brushed Bronze Nylon Herringbone” –interior.

The car will be sold as a project for restoration: Even it has been well preserved for its age, will the body (especially the sills and tailgates), need a work. Also the engine and the brakes will need attention after a long period stood unused. The chassis has been rustprotected in some point that has helped it to survive quite ok.

All the needed papers for registration and owner change.
