Chassis.nr CB750K-2733000
Original 4-cylinder fourstroke engine, electric start, hydraulic disc brake in front.
First registration in 22.03.1978.
History documented since new, 3 owners. Current owner since 2004.
All original documents including the very first proforma invoice and certificate of the warranty. Original instruction manual.
Registered as a historic vehicle.
– Sold to Vaasa, Finland –

In 1969, Honda introduced a motorcycle that is often cited as the most significant bike of modern motorcycles: the Honda CB750 Four. The four-cylinder engine was advanced and powerful, with which the bike reached a top speed of 193 kilometres per hour. The speed control was also modern: there was an efficient, hydraulic disc brake in front. The sophisticated bike was started with an electric start. A landmark motorcycle that started the competitive market of production superbikes.

In Finland, Honda was imported by Oy Otto Brandt Ab on Meritullinkatu in Helsinki. Honda got the nickname “Tuutti” from the mouth of Brandt’s mechanic, referring to the bike’s Swedish model name, which tells about the stroke volume. According to many stories, the name also came from Honda’s ice cream cone-shaped exhaust pipes. Tuutti-Honda became really popular, not least because of its excellent driving characteristics: The riding position is upright, natural and spacious and the bike is easy to handle. The center of gravity is very low and at least adequate power resources are accompanied by suitably brutal exhaust sounds.

This year model 1977, i.e. K7 series Honda CB 750, was bought new by Usko Tsokkinen from the official Honda dealer, Pyynikin Autovaruste. Tsokkinen kept Tuutti for more than 20 years until the end of 1998. The next owner, Reijo Mäkipää, bought the bike in 1998 and registered it as a historic vehicle in 2003. The museum-registered Tuutti was bought by the current owner, J. Pietarila, in 2004.

Since 1978, the bike has been ridden a total of 68,630 kilometers. The Honda has been serviced regularly, but is still in completely original, unrestored condition. The bike runs, runs and works as the Japanese engineer has designed it. The original dark brown paint is in amazingly good condition and the chrome parts are bright and shiny. The lights, indicators and switches are also original and intact.

When the Bike came to J. Pietarila, the Krause’s wind protection cover and bag set, purchased as original accessories were attached to the Bike. Them are still remained and including in the deal.

The motorcycle documentation is thorough. Original pre-order form / proforma invoice, warranty certificate all from 1978, inclusive. The original instruction manual, brochure, repair manual and magazine articles about Tuutti are also neatly preserved.

A truly wonderful, unrestored time capsule for the 1970s.

Tuutti-Honda is located in Tampere, 2 hours from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. Views by appointment.

Triumph GT6 MKI ’1967

2 liter inline six with two Zenith Stromberg Carburettors
Chassis.nr KC3305L
First registration in 13.12.1967.
Triumph White with black leather interior
Sold as new in Sweden. History known. 2 owners in Sweden 1967-2011, one owner in Finland.
Carefully serviced and refurbished in workshops specializing in British classics.
– Sold to Düsseldorf, Germany –

The first-generation Triumph GT6 was introduced in 1966. The two-seater Gran Turismo was drew by Italian designer Giovanni Michelotti. Due to its beatiful and streamlined lines, the GT6 was also nicknamed the “poor man’s E-type” already shortly after its introduction. Although the car body was largely based on the previous Triumph Spitfire MKIV, almost all body parts were new.

After the success of the 1963 as a racecar introduced prototype GT4’s Le Mans, Triumph still wanted to build a small GT car for street use as well, and a six-cylinder in-line engine from the Vitesse was planted in the Gran Turismo. The engine had a top power of 71 kW / 95 hp and a top speed of 171 km / h. The car became a success and, thanks to its power line, was both faster and more sophisticated than its most important competitor, the MGB GT.

This exceptionally well preserved GT6 was delivered from the factory in 1967 to Sweden. The car has already had a left-hand drive, seat belts and an electric windscreen washer installed at the factory, according to the requirements of the destination country. In Sweden, the car had only two owners. Paradise Cars, a car dealership specializing in British classics, brought the car to Finland in 2012.

The car’s body was in good original condition, but its flaws were restored and the body was painted in Triumph’s white. There are already small signs of aging and use on the paintwork, but the body and paint of the car is still very presentable, clean and tidy. The cracked walnut laminate dashboard was renewed.

The current owner of the car bought the car from the Paradise Cars store that brought it to Finland and refurbished it in the summer of 2013. The car was inspected and registered as a historic vehicle and has been enjoyed at classic car events during the summer.

During the current owner, the car has been refurbished with respect to its originality: Adjustable shock absorbers and front springs have been renewed and brakes have been refurbished. Carburettors and the petrol pump have been refurbished and the ignition parts have been renewed. The car has been regularly serviced by Grips Garage, which specializes in British cars. Last service 05/2022.

The car is in beautiful and presentable condition also in underneath. The floor panels have been refurbished with original repair panels.

The new wire wheels with the new period correct tires complete the look. The interior has been updated with the original Nardi steering wheel and Retrosound audio system. The original, removable rear seat is preserved and its original black leather upholstery is in excellent condition.

Car runs smooth and everything works precisely. Very fun, accurate and pretty fast ‘1960s small GT-car to drive.

Stunning and rare GT6 MKI with a great history. Inspected in summer 2020 (next 2024). Just serviced and ready to enjoy!

The car is located in Helsinki. Views by appointment only.

Led by Sir William Lyons, a revolutionary car was born in Coventry, UK in the late 1950s: the Jaguar MKII. The car was advanced, with a unibody and disc brakes. Particular attention had been paid to the car’s silence, vibration damping and a comfortable but sporty suspension. As the Jaguars motto, launched first time with MKII said: “Grace, Space, Pace”.

The end result was a luxurious and sporty large mid-size sedan. A representative car the kind of bank robbers stole as an escape car. And a capable four-door sport saloon that succeeded also as a racing car the kind that German competitors like BMW and Mercedes could only dream of at the time.

In the 1950s and 1960s, post war in Finland, the Jaguar really was a luxury for a few. This car has only been in three families since the new. Jaguar was sold to Finland as a new one in 1966 and the first owner was Professor Väisälä. In the 1990s, Heikki Virtanen from Helsinki, bought a car from his friend Hannu Mustonen, and today the car is owned by Heikki Virtanen’s son Otso Virtanen.

The car was restored at the turn of the 1990s and 2000s and was inspected and registered as a historic vehicle in 2007. The car has been refurbished and serviced by Jaguar specialized garages over the years and is in very good body and technical condition. Recently e.g. the brakes and carburettors have been refurbished, and the engine-, transmission-, and differential oils, as well as the fuel filter and pressure equalizer, have all been renewed.

The body is very neat and in very good condition also from below and the Gun Metal Gray paint surface is in great condition. Aristocratic style is complemented by chrome-plated Wire wheels with white side period correct classic car tires.

The car’s original 2.4-liter inline six runs silky smooth. The transmission works precisely and the car is a real pleasure to drive.

The car was Mot/Tüv inspected in May 2022 and the next inspection is in 2026. A really great Jaguar ready to enjoy.

The car can be seen in Espoo by appointment. Worldwide shipping with generous rates.

In 1971, Fiat introduced the small family car as the successor to the 850. The car became a revolutionary success story and a sales success. The Fiat 127 was chosen as the car of the year in 1972 and the one million car sold was already reached in 1974. The recipe for success was literally “The revolution that led from the front” and familiar from the Fiat 128 introduced three years earlier: Front-wheel drive, engine and disc brakes on the front and four-wheel independent suspension. The engine was a familiar from 850: Four-cylinder, peppery and economical 903 cc petrol engine.

Modern front wheel drive technology  and engine in front allowed for a sensible and ample interior space for small exterior dimensions. In addition to the modern angular lines, the body designed by Pio Manzu had smart solutions, such as placing the spare wheel in the engine compartment and opening the”clamshell” bonnet from behind. Shortly after the introduction, a truly three-door version of the body, initially introduced with a small tailgate, was introduced, and the large tailgate allowed the rear seat to be turned over and carry larger items.

In 1974, the Fiat 127 Special was introduced. The interior was more refined than the basic model and the body was finished with a redesigned grill, rubber bumper ends and rubber side moldings. The dashboard and steering wheel were redesigned. Practical equipment included a reversing light, button-operated windscreen washers and a two-speed heater fan.

In 1977, the second generation of the Fiat 127 was introduced, with numerous of small reforms: the car’s lights, bonnet with air intake, grill and bumpers, among other things, gave the car a modern look again.

This car was bought as new by T. Kauppinen from Hyvinkää on October 1, 1981. Shortly after acquiring the car, Kauppinen retired and due to the owner’s health problems, the car was mainly parked in the garage of his house and driven only few times in year. However, the car was inspected annually until 2014. The car was parked in the garage until fall 2021 when we bought it and collect it from the same garage where the car was very mostly been since 1981. In 40 years the car was driven less than ten thousand kilometers!

The car still has its original very first Pirelli Cinturato P3 summer tires with DOT 02/81. The DOT of Gislaved studded winter tires is 06/80. The car is rust-proof as new. The seats and steering wheel have had guards and are still like new. The car is in its original condition and in its first paint. Couple dents in the tailgate. If the buyer so wishes, the trunk can be refurbished.

The car has been refurbished between fall 2021 and beginning of 2022: The carburettor has been refurbished and the engine valves adjusted. The fuel lines have been cleaned and refurbished. Ignition parts have been replaced. Coolants and brake fluids have been changed. The accessory belt has been replaced. The brakes have been opened and repaired with repair kits. The winter tires have new inner tubes.

A unique time capsule.

The car was inspected in January 2022.

The car is located in Helsinki, presentations by appointment.

Rover Vitesse ’1983

Very rare original LHD Vitesse
Chassis number: SARRREWZ8CM288651
Restored and rebuilt 2011–2012
Tuned 4.6 Rover V8 with 5-speed manual gearbox
1 private owner in Finland for over last 10 years. Original instruction manuals and history documentation.
Sold to Switzerland

In the early 1970s, Rover began developing a successor to the receding P6. The intention was to create a luxury, the brand’s first 5-door family car. Together with Triumph, Rover established a Specialist Division. The first of the cars was named Specialist Division nr. 1 or SD1.

SD1 was redesigned from the beginning. Rover’s product development department took inspiration from Pininfarina, not least the Ferrari 365 GTB / 4, more commonly known as the Daytona. Triumph’s Coventry department was responsible for the design of the suspension and chassis. The SD1 was introduced with Rover’s V8 engine. Production of the car began at a new factory in Solihull, and the first cars were delivered to customers in the summer of 1976. In 1977, SD1 was chosen Car of the Year in Europe.

In 1982, the factory decided to convert one of the SD1 factory race cars for street use and handed it over to Rover’s CEO for a drive. Soon after, the decision was made to make a fast and efficient street car in production. It name would Vitesse, in French fast.

The Vitesse 3.5 Rover V8 soon received the Lucas injection, which produced 190 horsepower as standard. The transmissions were changed and the gearbox was strenghtened. The Vitesse was about an inch lower than the base model and the ride was made stiffer by modifying the rear axle supports and outriggers. The performance was impressive: 0–100 km/h was done in about 7 seconds that was an astonishing figure for a sloping family car, as was the top speed of 230 kilometers per hour. Still, the car had all the finest equipments of the 1980s, from an electric sunroof and air conditioning to an on-board computer and sporty seats.

John Davenport, head of Rover’s racing car division, had a significant influence on the design and production of Vitesse, and for good reason. The goal was to get a talented racer for the 1983 season. And so it happened. British Leyland began supporting Rover and Vitesse competed successfully in both the BTCC (including Tim Harvey, Andy Rouse, Steve Soper) and the Rally Group A, driven by Tony Pond. Vitesse’s success in the competition culminated in the German DTM, where the Danish Kurt Thiim won the championship with Vitesse in 1986, leaving behind e.g. BMW, Ford and Mercedes.

This Rover Vitesse, built ‘1983 in Cowley factory, was brought to Finland by a small car dealership from Porvoo, Germany, in 2008. After imported to Finland, the car was serviced in Karaasi, which has specialized in taken care and restoring British cars for over 40 years. Soon after the car changed hands to A. Linnavuori, the older son of the founder of the Karaasi family business.

Linnavuori took the car to parts in 2011 and the car body was refurbished. There was only little of bodywork needed, the body of Vitesse had remained in good condition. The tailgate was replaced because rust under spoiler and the rubber spoiler was not installed again. The body was painted in Rover Black and the original Vitesse wheels were restored. All exterior parts available, such as gutters and door handles, were replaced. The interior upholstery was renewed and the hardwoods were restored. The wooden steering wheel was tinted with the same varnish as the hardwoods.

The engine was upgraded with respect to Vitesse’s original heart as Rover V8: 4.6-liter Rover V8 block was machined and assembled with all new bearings, pistons and parts. The camshaft is Kent 218. The compression ratios are 10.5 to 11: 1. Timing cover and other front end parts and distributor, are Vitesse’s own, and there are few external differences. Significantly increased power and torque is observed!

The car is built specifically for driving and use. The original Lucas Efi system has been upgraded to the more modern and especially more reliable Lucas 14CUX / Hotwire. The car runs very smooth and is easy and effortless to drive.

The brakes were also refurbished and disc brakes were fitted also at the rear. The air conditioning was refurbished with new parts.

In 2021, the clutch was completely renewed and the flywheel was machined.

Since its restoration, the car has been driven about 1000-2000 kilometers every summer since 2012.

The car is what it should have been when it left the factory: Almost the performance of a factory racer, without compromising on modern conveniences and everyday use. By this Vitesse you can enjoy the roadtrip or go around the track or winding roads.

The original matching numbers engine is also stored and can be purchased with the car.

The car is registered as a historic vehicle. Fresh Mot/Tüv inspection until 2025. Documents on the stages of the car from Germany, as well as the original manuals are stored.

The Rover Vitesse is a rare, and in this condition a very exceptional car with left-hand drive.

The car is located in Helsinki. Views by appointment. Worldwide shipping with generous rates.
