The Austin-Healey car brand was born in 1952 as a result of the collaboration between BMC and Donald Healey. In the same year, the British Motor Company was also born as a result of the merger of Austin and Morris. Austin and Donald Healey wanted to offer a sports car specifically for the North American market. Donald Healey had won the Monte Carlo Rally with Invicta in 1931 and made a name for himself as a designer of Triumph and Riley sports cars. After the Second World War, he had established his own car factory, where cars were produced for Tickford and Duncan, for example. The conditions for designing a successful sports car were there.

In 1952, the first sports car designed by Austin and Healey was presented at the London Motor Show. Donald Healey’s son Geoffrey Healey and Barrie Bilbie were especially responsible for the the new sports car. Gerry Coker helped with the design. The engine was an Austin straight four with two carburetors that pushed the sports car to a top speed of 100 mph. The car was initially named Healey Hundred, which was soon updated to Austin-Healey 100. After its release, the car was constantly developed and its power readings and driving characteristics improved.

In 1956, Austin-Healey received a new, six-cylinder, 2600cc engine. The body of the car grew in length and the look of the front changed with a smaller grille. The name of the model became 100–6.

The Austin-Healey 3000 was introduced in 1959. The name of the model came from the increased displacement of the engine. The car was an immediate success and Pat Moss won the Liege-Rome-Liege rally with the car in 1960. In 1964, Finns Rauno Aaltonen and Tony Ambrose won the 1961 Austin Healey in the Spa-Sofia-Liege rally of more than 5,500 kilometers, 90 hours continuous, with a superior , more than half an hour ahead of Swedish Erik Carlsson. Austin–Healey’s role in motorsport history is still undeniable.

The Austin-Healey 3000 MKII was introduced in May 1961 and was available for the 1962 market. The model was available as a two-seater BJ7 and a 2+2-seater BT7, both of which were equipped with a 2.9-liter inline six engine and three SU HS4 carburettors.

This ‘1962 BT7 left the factory on January 23, 1962 and was sold as new in Los Angeles, USA. The car’s factory equipment includes, for example, an overdrive, a heating device, wire wheels, an adjustable steering column and a laminated windshield.

Since then, the car ended up in Central Europe. The car was restored in the 2010s in Germany and spent time in Austria and Belgium. We brought the car to Finland in December 2023.

The Healey has been restored in spirit of a period correct racing car and has been fitted with the original hardtop and side windows, an aluminum bonnet with cooling fins and additional lights in front. The original, good condition front bumper is also preserved.

The body is painted in Healey’s Colorado red shade and the hardtop in old English white – Just like Rauno Aaltonen’s and Pat Moss’ racing Healeys. The body is finished with period correct racing livery tapes.

The interior is upholstered in black leather with red cedar strips. The thick racing steering wheel is covered in leather.

The engine is the car’s original 2.9-liter straight engine with three HS4 carburetors. The ignition has been updated to an electric one and the fuel pump to a more efficient model. The gearbox is the original four-speed equipped with an electronic overdrive. The engine and gearbox work excellently, and the performance exhaust system accentuates the beautiful exhaust sounds.

Austin-Healey will be sold with fresh service made in Grips Garage. The car comes with history and maintenance documents, British Motor industry COA, owner’s manuals, some A-H literature, and the factory repair manual.

Registered in Belgium, inspection valid 02/2027.

Beatiful and fast, road leagal racer spec Healey ready to enjoy.

The car is located in Vantaa, Finland – 25 minutes from Helsinki–Vantaa Airport. Views by appointment.

First registration in 22.03.1978.
History documented since new, 3 owners. Current owner since 2004.
All original documents including the very first proforma invoice and certificate of the warranty. Original instruction manual.
Registered as a historic vehicle.
– 7500 € –

In 1969, Honda introduced a motorcycle that is often cited as the most significant bike of modern motorcycles: the Honda CB750 Four. The four-cylinder engine was advanced and powerful, with which the bike reached a top speed of 193 kilometres per hour. The speed control was also modern: there was an efficient, hydraulic disc brake in front. The sophisticated bike was started with an electric start. A landmark motorcycle that started the competitive market of production superbikes.

In Finland, Honda was imported by Oy Otto Brandt Ab on Meritullinkatu in Helsinki. Honda got the nickname “Tuutti” from the mouth of Brandt’s mechanic, referring to the bike’s Swedish model name, which tells about the stroke volume. According to many stories, the name also came from Honda’s ice cream cone-shaped exhaust pipes. Tuutti-Honda became really popular, not least because of its excellent driving characteristics: The riding position is upright, natural and spacious and the bike is easy to handle. The center of gravity is very low and at least adequate power resources are accompanied by suitably brutal exhaust sounds.

This year model 1977, i.e. K7 series Honda CB 750, was bought new by Usko Tsokkinen from the official Honda dealer, Pyynikin Autovaruste. Tsokkinen kept Tuutti for more than 20 years until the end of 1998. The next owner, Reijo Mäkipää, bought the bike in 1998 and registered it as a historic vehicle in 2003. The museum-registered Tuutti was bought by the current owner, J. Pietarila, in 2004.

Since 1978, the bike has been ridden a total of 68,630 kilometers. The Honda has been serviced regularly, but is still in completely original, unrestored condition. The bike runs, runs and works as the Japanese engineer has designed it. The original dark brown paint is in amazingly good condition and the chrome parts are bright and shiny. The lights, indicators and switches are also original and intact.

When the Bike came to J. Pietarila, the Krause’s wind protection cover and bag set, purchased as original accessories were attached to the Bike. Them are still remained and including in the deal.

The motorcycle documentation is thorough. Original pre-order form / proforma invoice, warranty certificate all from 1978, inclusive. The original instruction manual, brochure, repair manual and magazine articles about Tuutti are also neatly preserved.

A truly wonderful, unrestored time capsule for the 1970s.

Tuutti-Honda is located in Tampere, 2 hours from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. Views by appointment.

19 700 km’s driven Range Rover Suffix D ‘1975

Chassis number 35816264D
19 700 km’s – Used only between 1975–1977
Lincoln Green
Palomino leather interior
All original documents: instruction manuals and original service book

Unique garage find from the region of Päijät-Häme, Finland.

In the fall of 2018 I got a phone call from a couple of guys who had bought a farm house from an estate. In the yard they found several cars waiting to be restored, but the biggest surprise was waiting in the garage. A 1975 Suffix D – Range Rover had been standing there since 1977. That’s 42 years!

The car had been driven on its roof by the first owner. Then the Landlord, the owner  of the farmhouse had bought it after the crash from the insurance company. The car had only been driven 19 700 kilometers!!

Already deceased owner of the house had taken the car into very small parts. The brake pipes were hanging in the ceiling of the garage and the interior was taken apart in the fire room of the house. Maybe it may be unnecessary to point out that the man was an old man with a tendency to hoard things…

All the parts were there, but taken apart. Even the tires are the very first and original ones. Fortunately, all the original documents about the car have also been preserved. The car has really only been in use for two years, from 1975 to 1977!

Needless to say, we definitely wanted to save and restore this car. We took the trailer and picked up the car. It took a whole day to pack the parts and load the car.

We knew that restoring this special Range Rover would be particularly demanding, and we chose Autorep as the restoration partner. At one time, my father and several of his cousins worked there. One of the founders of the company was my father’s uncle. Today, the company is run by Mauri Pulkkinen, who has worked for the company since the 1980s.

The crash had been severe: even the chassis had some small bumps, but it was possible to straighten them out. During the repair we found out that the chassis still had even the original chalk marks from the factory.

The biggest challenge was how to repair the frame of the roof. The frame was fixed by using a frame from a spare part car.

There are not many people in Finland who knew about this car. A Range Rover with such a low mileage must be saved and restored so that as many original parts are used as possible.

I wonder how many 1970’s Range Rovers still exist with this mileage?

This car will be as close to the new, original Range Rover as possible. The car will be completely nut & bolt restored, but it will have the perfect matching numbers: The car body, engine, transmission and flawless, original interior are the car’s originals.

The restoration will be completed during 2026.

Volvo introduced the 140 series in 1966 as the successor to the legendary Amazon. The model number indicated the number of engine cylinders and body doors, so the 142 that entered the market in 1967 had four cylinders and two doors.

Markku Alén and Hannu Mikkola are some of the Finnish rally legends raced with Volvo 142. Alén finished third in the 1972 Jyväskylän Suurajot with a Volvo and continued to RAC rallies for the first time.

The 1973 Volvo 142 S in question was first registered in Sweden on November 6, 1972. Volvo was rebuilt  as a rally car in Sweden in 2015. The car was built by Matti Tarkki and in Finland developed further by Kari Aittomaa in 2016-2018.

The Volvo has the Volvo’s original, tuned up B20 engine, which produces about 165 horsepower. The gear ratios are customized for rally use and the car has a differential lock. The price includes all the needed equipment of the racing car, such as seats, belts, wheels with summer tires for public roads & winter tires, fire extinguisher, inspection equipment and trip meter.

Interior colour: Tan
Mileage: 84,446 miles
Registered as a historic vehicle. Mot/Tüv valid until 07/2024
Serviced in spring 2023

The Sunbeam Alpine was the first Sunbeam model from the Rootes Group after Sunbeam bought Clément-Talbot in 1935. The first generation Alpine was produced between 1953 and 1955 and the all-new Alpine Series I was introduced in 1959. The four-cylinder petrol engined Alpine also included modern equipment in British sports car at that time, such as wind-up side windows and coil springs and disc brakes in front.

The ‘1963 Sunbeam Alpine in question is one of the Series II generation, and equipped with a more powerful 80-horsepower 1.6-liter, four-cylinder engine. The car was brought to Finland from the United States in 1992. The body of the car, which is in excellent original condition, was repainted in Sunbeam’s Holly Green color in the 2010s. The interior was also reupholstered in brown tones. The Alpine has the original Rootes Group steering wheel and Smith and Jaeger gauges. The car has a black vinyl roof in good condition.

Alpine was serviced in the spring of 2023, when the engine oils and filter were changed and the timing and carburetors were adjusted. The car’s engine runs great and transmission work precisely.

In 1948, at the Earls Court Motor Show in London, Jaguar presented the world’s fastest production car. The Jaguar XK 120, introduced as an open two seater, reached, as its name suggests, an unprecedented speed of 120 miles (193 kilometers) per hour.

The body of the car was designed by director and founder of Jaguar, Sir William Lyons himself. The shapes of the beautiful sports car body were praised and adored in the competition. The original shapes of the prototype car, frame number 660001, were largely preserved until production cars, but the body material soon changed from aluminum to steel. The first production car, the XK 120 with chassis number 670003, was delivered to Hollywood actor Clark Gable.

It wasn’t just a new car model, but the role of the XK 120 was much bigger. It served as a test bed for new XK engine, designed by Jaguar’s chief engineer William Heynes. The revolutionary inline six engine was equipped with two overhead camshafts, aluminium-alloy cylinder head and seven main bearings, producing a maximum output of 160 horsepower. The XK engine became one of the most prestigious six-cylinder engines of all time, which Jaguar used with various versions until the 1990s.

Already before the end of the Second World War, Jaguar knew how to design and make sports cars. Before the XK the latest sports car in production was the SS100. It was name came by Swallow Sidecar, the company that preceded Jaguar. 100 was named after the car’s power. SS100 was also successful in motor sports, both on gravel and on the track. The new XK 120 was no exception to Jaguar’s motorsport success and it not only broke speed records, but was also successful in Le Mans, Targa Florio, Mille Miglia and also in Monte Carlo rallies. Leslie Johnson, Clemente Biondetti, Ian Appleyard, Tommy Wisdom and Sir Stirling Moss, just to name a few motorsport legends who have raced with XK 120 Jaguars. In Finland SPJ Keinänen won Eläintarhan ajot – race with XK120 in 1951.

The motorsport success of the XK 120 signaled Jaguar’s direction far into the future and encouraged Lyons and Heynes to invest not only for the development of sports cars, but also in motorsport.

In 1954, Jaguar’s XK series got a successor when the bigger XK 140 was introduced and offered to the market for the following year. Again named by the top speed, 140 miles per hour. More space for the passengers had been obtained by moving the engine forward and changing the position of the battery from behind the passenger to under the front wing. XK 140 got more powerful brakes and now rack and pinion steering. The XK140 had modern front shock absorbers.

This 1956 Jaguar XK 140 Roadster is manufactured 21.09.1956 and has been sold as new by RM Overseas dealer in Dusseldorf, Delaware, USA. The first owner was called J.H Haught JR. The car was sold from the USA to Sweden in 1995 and further to Finland in 2003. The current owner J. Nietosvuori bought the car in 2018.

The car was restored in the USA in the 1980s and thoroughly renovated at Grips Garage in 2018: The car’s carburetors were refurbished and the fuel lines, fuel pump and fuel tank were renewed. The brakes were renewed and some wearing parts of the steering and suspension were renewed. New wheel hubs and wire wheels, painted to match to the interior, installed with new period correct tires. The floor pans and door sills were renewed and rear wheel arches refurbished.

The Jaguar is thoroughly serviced in October 2023. The fuel pumps and fuel lines were cleaned and the spark plugs were renewed. The engine oil and filter were changed and the transmission oil was checked. The Jaguar was Mot/Tüv inspected and the inspection of the historic vehicle is valid until October 2027.

The Jaguar runs great and is really good to drive. The engine works perfectly and the transmission is working precise without any additional noices.

The car is registered as a historic vehicle, it is Mot/Tüv inspected & valid until 2027, ready to enjoy.

The 1960s and 1970s were a good time for Italian car designer Marcello Gandini. He designed the remarkable Italian classics such as the Lamborghini Miura, Alfa Romeo Montreal, Lancia Stratos and Lamborghini Countach. In 1973, Ferrari introduced the Dino 308 GT4, which was intended to replace the Dino 246 GT and GTS models. Compared to its predecessors, the Ferrari 308 was completely different, and instead of Pininfarina, it was Gandini, who moved to work for Bertone and was now responsible for design.

In place of the 2.4 liter V6 of its predecessor Dino 246, the new 308 had a transversely mounted 2.9 liter V8 engine in the middle. Even though the engine was located in the middle, there was still room for 2+2 seats in the back. The V8 engine was paired with a five-speed manual transmission with an H diagram.

In 1975, Ferrari introduced the 208 GT4 aimed specifically at the Italian market. The car was identical to the Dino 308 GT 4, but the displacement of the V8 had been reduced to two liters. The change was made by reducing the cylinder bore, while the stroke length remained the same. By 1980, Ferrari produced a total of approximately 3,500 308 and 208 models. Of these, only 840 were 208 GT4 models, of which 47 were produced in 1979.

The car in question is a 1979 Dino 208 GT 4, which was sold new from the Florentine Concessionaria Campagnano Automobili -Ferrari dealer on June 15, 1979. The original warranty and owner transfer sheet has been also preserved. The car has only had two owners in Italy, and the car had only been driven 52 thousand kilometers when the Finnish classic car enthusiast T.Vilagi brought the car to Finland in 2019.

Blu Sera colored Dino 208 GT 4 has been preserved in really exceptionally original condition. Both the paint and the interior are in their original and unrestored, beautifully patinated condition. The car’s rare equipment includes, for example, cream-colored leather upholstery, while the majority of 208s are upholstered in different shades of plush material. A special equipment customized by the factory are also the metallic air dam scoops on the engine cover. A rare factory accessory is also Ferrari’s own anti-theft alarm system.

All of the car’s original documents are still on file and include Ferrari’s Workshop Manual, service and warranty book, list of Ferrari service organizations and spare parts book. The original spare keys, spare tire and the tools are also preserved in right places.

The car has been serviced until 1983 at the Florentine Ferrari dealer that sold the car as new. The V8 engine of the Dino has been opened and overhauled in Italy by the previous owner, a Ferrari specialist, at about 50,000 kilometers, according to the previous owner. In Finland, the car has also been serviced by garage specializing in Ferraris, and the services have been documented. The last major maintenance, including timing belt replacement, was done in 2021.

The engine runs smoothly and the four Webers are perfectly adjusted. The engine does not smoke at all, neither cold nor hot. The raw and humble power is still there and the engine both torques and revs wonderfully. The gearbox is accurate without any extra noises. Weighing only 1305 kilograms, the car is very precise and sensitive to drive.

BMW spent more than 1.5 billion German marks to develop the successor to the commercially successful E24 generation 6-series. The development started already in 1981 and the body designed by Klaus Kapitza was almost ready for presentation already in 1986. However, the presentation was postponed, because the cars of the E24 generation were still being sold well.

Finally, the BMW 8 Series was presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 1989. It was not a direct replacement for the E24 generation 6 Series, but a one step more luxurious, larger, more streamlined and more capable also in terms of performance. The Grand Tourer class BMW was introduced with a 5 litre V12 engine and automatic or manual transmission. Later in 1992, the V8-powered 840 Ci and the 5.6 liter 850 CSi V12 also became available.

The car itself was a progressive success, but its introduction to the market came at a challenging time – the recession of the early 1990s, the Persian War and the continued rise in energy prices. BMW had also planned a sporty M8 version of the 8 series, but when sales of new cars declined, the plans were abandoned. All in all, only 30,609 cars of BMW’s 8 series, i.e. sporty flagship models, were sold by 1999.

The car in question is one of the very few 8-series BMWs sold as new in Finland. The car was bought new at the beginning of the 1990s recession by Finnish car collector who drove the car only 34,500 kilometers in just under 33 years until the beginning of October 2023, in many years only for technical inspection. The car has been stored indoors and has been serviced regularly. All original documents, including the service book, are kept.

The car’s documents also include tax stamps, some 1990s commercial catalogs and brochures that have been carried with the car.

BMW’s original, unused set of winter tires stored in storage are preserved with the original aluminum rims.

In the years 2020-2021 (33-34,000 km), the car has been thoroughly serviced and overhauled for use: All ignition parts have been renewed in the car – including the distributor cover, rotor, spark plugs and plug wires. The fuel pumps and the Lambda sensor have been renewed. The contact disk of the airbags has been renewed. The BMW has been thoroughly serviced, where the fuel lines have been cleaned and the fuel filter and engine oils with filters have been renewed.

BMW’s flagship drives superb. The engine runs smoothly and there is a lot of humble V12 power. The gearbox works perfectly.

The original Brilliant Rot red paintwork is in excellent condition as You can expect according to the kilometers. The interior is like a new car. The hands free device is installed without drilling holes and can therefore be removed without leaving any traces. All of the car’s electrical equipment, such as cruise control, seat heaters, electric seat adjustments and electric windows, work as they should.

An exceptional, 100% original BMW flagship with an interesting and unique history. A great collectible youngtimer classic, ready to enjoy.

The car is located in Vantaa, 25 minutes from Helsinki–Vantaa Airport. Views by appointment only.

Audi Sport Quattro S1 Evocation ‘2022

2.2 l 5-cylinder Audi engine, runs with P1 fossil-free, 107-octane fuel
6-speed sequential gearbox
Continuous four-wheel drive with differential locks
750 hp with 2 bar boost pressure
About 1000 hp with 3.3 bar boost pressure
Fossil-free oils in the engine, transmission and shock absorbers
Safety equipment according to current standards
– Sold to United States –

Audi introduced the S1 Quattro at the end of 1984. According to the requirements of Group B, 200 classification cars designed for Sport Quattro street traffic were produced and 20 B-group racers loosely based on them. The S1 Quattro debuted in Jyväskylä Suurajot in 1985. Audi’s racing team was one of the most impressive ever: Hannu Mikkola, Walter Röhrl, Michelle Moyton and Stig Blomqvist.

The Audi Sport Quattro S1 Evocation respects the rally hegemony of the S1 with remarkable precision. The car is a show racer built by Riku Tahko Rally Consulting for Secto Automotive Labs.

The Audi’s car body was found in early 2022 from Sweden. The goal was to get the car ready for Secto Rally Finland 2022. The body of the Sport Quattro S1 Evocation is made in the same way as Audi made factory rally cars in the 1980s: The body combines the front of the Audi 80 and the rear of the Sport Quattro. The factory made the racers by combining them, because the 80 sedan model’s windshield was taller than the Sport Quattro’s and thus reduced reflections. The body of the S1 is 32 centimeters shorter than the Sport Quattro, and the end result is therefore more agile to handle.

The body of the car had already been prepared in Sweden. The car came with Audi’s 5-cylinder 2.2-liter turbo engine blank built for drag race competitions. The body also contained the racer’s sub frames for powertain.

Audi Sport Quattro S1 Evocation was built by RTRC, i.e. Riku Tahko Rally Consulting Team. The goal was to build a racing car intended for show rally runs and Hill Climbs. Externally identic to the B-group S1 rally car, but a car which runs on modern P1 Fuels fossil-free eFuel.

Gearbox was updated for a modern 6-speed sequential gearbox. The handbrake was upgraded to hydraulic, which locks the rear wheels. The front and rear axles have traditional disc locks and the gearbox has a traditional differential lock. Instead of gravel rally stages, the chassis and suspension diametrics and specifications are designed especifically for demonstration driving on tarmac and, for example, with Hill Climb competitions in mind.

The engine, transmission and KW -shock absorption work with fossil-free Lubrican oils.

The five-cylinder equipped with a huge Precison turbocharger only wakes up after 5,000 rpm’s, but produces 750 horsepower at 2 bar boost pressure and around 1,000 horsepower at 3.3 bar boost pressure. Fuel is given by mechanic fuel pump with pressure regulator and fuel injection controlled by Max Ecu system. The end result is fierce and wild, “aim and shoot”, which requires hands and handling skills, but enables amazing four-wheel drifting.

The car has the electrics of a modern  rally car and the use of the supercharger can be adjusted with the Boost and Antilag buttons on the steering wheel. The dashboard has been kept simple and period correct, but all important information for driver is available on Tremondi screen.

The car has modern safety devices approved for competition use, such as FIA approved seats and 6-point belts. The car has a modern Tilton pedal box.

The S1 Evocation was completed in time for the 2022 Secto Rally, where Matias Henkola opened the rally by driving it on the Harju Stage. At the same stage Hannu Mikkola drove an S1 Quattro for the fastest time in 1985.

The S1 Evocation has already been starred at numerous of events and was also used in Killeri stage at the Jyväskylä winter rally. At that time, the driver was the father of recent world champion Kalle Rovanperä, the rally legend Harri Rovanperä.

This car is not a typical B-group garage queen replica, but really a remarkable and unique thoroughbred but useable race car for the next owner to drive and enjoy.

The car has been built with longevity and ease of use in mind. Upkeep and maintenace regardless of costs. The car will be sold including it’s service protocol.

New owner can rely on support in the running procedures from RTRC as well as a shakedown with a walk-through of the car.

The car is located in Espoo, Finland, 35 minutes from Helsinki-Vantaa airport.

In 1948, at the Earls Court Motor Show in London, Jaguar presented the world’s fastest production car. The Jaguar XK 120, introduced as an open two seater, reached, as its name suggests, an unprecedented speed of 120 miles (193 kilometers) per hour.

The motorsport success of the XK 120 signaled Jaguar’s direction far into the future and encouraged Lyons and Heynes to invest not only for the development of sports cars, but also in motorsport. The XK series was continued and in 1954 the larger XK 140 was introduced followed XK 150 in 1957, that was also available as a four-seater.

This particular XK 120 Open Two Seater was manufactured in Coventry in 1950. The Jaguar was brought to Finland by R. Forrström, the founder of the Finnish Jaguar club, whose company Suomen sijoitusautot specialized in the sale and restoration of British classics. Forrström decided to completely rebuild the XK120 in the spirit of a Le Mans racer. The car was made with a 100% aluminum body. Engine was updated to similar XK -engine as the very original straight six, but bigger 4.2 litre that was tuned with, among other things, bigger carburettors and performance camshafts.

The restoration of the car is complete and has included, among other things, a thorough restoration of the body and chassis, a complete restoration and rebuilding of the engine and gearbox, and renewal of the electrical and stainless steel exhaust systems. The Jaguar has updated with bigger disc brakes both in front and rear.

The interior has been rebuilt to every detail and the wooden steering wheel and upholstery have been renewed. The body is finished in Jaguar’s metallic silver tone. The hood is locked in the Le Mans spirit with a leather strap and the windshields are the original Brooklands.

The Jaguar has been with its current owner shortly after its completion since year 2005. The car has only been driven a few hundred kilometers since finished the rebuilt and restoration. The Jaguar is really fast, works perfectly and is indeed a real driving pleasure.

The Jaguar will be sold with fresh Mot/Tüv inspection valid until 07/2024.
